ADELE: HOLLYWOOD’S IN-DEMAND BFF

You know when there’s a new kid at school and everyone’s desperate to be their best friend? That’s exactly what Adele is dealing with Stateside. The singer, 29, has been spending more and more time in LA due to her growing group of famous buddies.
Recently spotted at the Women’s March with Jennifer Lawrence and Cameron Diaz, Adele – who has five-year-old son Angelo with husband Simon Konecki – has been inundated with invitations to spend time with Hollywood’s elite.
“Adele’s got an impressive group of friends out in LA,” an insider tells heat. “She gets the most insane invites from all these Hollywood stars – things like a girls’ dinner with Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox, and play dates for her and Angelo with Beyoncé and Blue Ivy, as well as invites to Vegas to see Britney, J-LO and Lady Gaga.”
It’s rare to see Adele pictured out and about, but our source tells us she is thrilled with the amount of friends she’s made while living in LA. We’re told her current roster of mates includes Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone, Katy Perry, Cameron Diaz, James Corden, Robbie Williams and Patsy Palmer, aka Bianca from Eastenders. The pair met through mutual friend and Patsy’s ’Enders co-star Sid Owen.
“He put her in touch with Patsy, who is living in Malibu now, which is one of Adele’s favourite places to visit,” the insider adds. “She loves that there are loads of Brits out there – it makes her feel more at home and less guilty about turning her back on the UK. She hates the idea of fans thinking that she’s too good for them, which is why she won’t publicly admit that she’s now in A merica most of the time.”
However, whatever their feelings about her US move, those fans will be excited to hear that Adele’s happiness in L A has inspired new music. “She’s in a good place at the moment, and has been back in the studio making some demos. It’s a lot earlier than she had planned, and it’s all very hush-hush, but she’s feeling really positive.”
