Even Kimmy K can’t get the attention she needs
She’s been back to her raunchy best in recent weeks, posting topless snaps to Instagram and giving a defiant two-fingered salute to anyone who dares to criticise her. But while we assumed that Kim Kardashian’s latest bout of nudity was simply a clever hack to avoid baby sick stains, it seems she has a far more pressing matter: winning back some attention from an apparently disinterested Kanye West.
“Kim is desperate for him to show her more attention, but he’s been withdrawn lately,” says a source close to the power couple, who’ve endured some major ups and downs since they married in 2014. “Even though the divorce talk has slowed down, there’s still some distance between them and friends worry they may have stuck a band-aid over their troubles, rather than dealing with them head-on –Kim’s sick of tiptoeing around their problems.”
Last month, Kim and Kanye – who were already parents to four-year-old North and two-yearold Saint – welcomed baby Chicago via surrogate. At the time, heat told you that Kim had hired a therapist to help them spice up their love life and divorce-proof their marriage. But we’re told that it’s not fixed all the problems between them – especially since Kanye’s been noticeably absent. “Kanye’s been distracted and Kim feels like he’s been ignoring her for months, well before Chi was born,” the insider adds. “Then he took off for Berlin just two weeks after the baby arrived. Kim couldn’t get hold of him for hours. It’s that kind of behaviour that drives her crazy and makes her wonder if he just doesn’t care anymore. He used to surprise her with gifts and grand romantic gestures, but he hasn’t done that in so long. She’s tired of him just disappearing like this. Kim could do with some attention right now.”
