What’s happening in Sport Relief 2018? We preview this year’s extravaganza

It’s that time of year when celebs, sport and fundraising come together for one humongous night of fun and incredible deeds. Broadcast live from Salford for the first time, Davina Mccall, Gary Lineker and Ore Oduba kick off the evening’s entertainment with an exciting performance from Kylie Minogue (see our guide, right), with Paddy Mcguinness, Claudia Winkleman and Freddie Flintoff taking the baton at 8.30pm to keep the donations flooding in. Among the evening’s highlights, John Bishop is on a mission to help the England football team to win the World Cup, Rob Brydon and the cast of his upcoming film, Swimming With Men, feature in a Lol-tastic sketch, plus there’s music from Meghan Trainor and Snow Patrol. We’ll also hear first-hand how the money raised for Sport Relief is helping disadvantaged people here in the UK and overseas, too.
