Posh’s perfect weekend with David Beckham was a flop. And then he was pictured cosying up to Bella Hadid

Her romantic plans with David didn’t live up to the hype

Spending quality time together as a couple is something that’s quite rare for David and Victoria Beckham these days, thanks to their busy careers, four kids and often not even being in the same country as each other. So, it’s no surprise Victoria was looking forward to a romantic weekend in New York with her hot husband. Except it seems she didn’t really get her wish, as we’re told the break was a bit of a letdown. She then had to see pictures of David enjoying a night out with a supermodel days later. Not ideal.

“Vic had been really excited about going away as it’s so rare for her and David to get a weekend together,” our source says. “They chose New York, as [eldest son] Brooklyn is based there at the moment and it was his 19th birthday, so they wanted to see him. But Vic spent most of her time there on her own or with Brooklyn, as David had to work. He did manage to make Brooklyn’s birthday meal, and although she understand­s David has a lot of work commitment­s at the moment, Vic couldn’t help but feel let down because she didn’t see that much of him.”

As heat s’s told you before, the couple – who also have children Romeo, 15, Cruz, 13, and six-year-old Harper – will be struggling to see a lot of each other, as David, 42, launches his own football franchise in Miami. Vic, 43, will stay in London with the kids and fly them out during school holidays. We’re told she’s sometimes questioned whether they will be able to survive this, and she knows how important it is for them to see each other and do romantic things whenever they get the opportunit­y.

“Now the kids are older, Victoria thought she and David would be able to have more weekends away, but that’s all changed now David’s football team have been given the go-ahead,” our insider continues. “His money and reputation are at stake, so he has to drop everything to go to Miami whenever he’s needed.
