Justin & Selena: IT’S OVER (again)
Is Mama Gomez to blame?
After only reuniting at the end of 2017, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have reportedly split again. Over the last few months, the couple had seemed almost inseparable. They were most recently pictured all over each other in Jamaica at Justin’s dad’s wedding. However, both singers have been spotted attending their church separately in the last few weeks, and they are said to be taking a break. Justin, 24, and Selena, 25, met in 2009 when they were teenagers and fell in love the next year. The singing superstars have had an on/off relationship ever since, although both have dated multiple people in between. Now, after this latest split, rumours are rife that Selena’s mum was instrumental in the break-up because she had never wanted them to reunite.
Mandy Teefey has previously spoken out about how she was “not happy” that Selena had got back together with bad boy/doofus Justin and she seemed to dismiss the couple, saying, “Selena can live her life however she wants, as long as she is happy, safe and healthy.”
But while she affirmed that, “every mother and daughter has their disagreements”, a source has since come forward to say that Mandy had nothing to do with the break and that the couple simply have their own issues to work through.
Ahhh, yet another chapter in the saga of young Hollywood love. If their past relationship history is anything to go by, we’ll be toasting their engagement this time next week.
