When you’ve spent nearly 15 years as a Hollywood pin-up, it must be strange watching your body change in front of your eyes. Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria spent last week complaining on Insta that her clothes no longer fit as she hit the sixth month of her pregnancy, and friends say the exerciseloving star is already thinking about getting back in shape after giving birth. In fact, the 42 year old, who’s expecting her first child with husband José Bastón, has now enlisted the help of best friend Victoria Beckham.
“It seems Eva’s gained nearly 3st so far,” says an insider. “It means she hasn’t been able to keep up with her exercise routine. She’s also had cravings for salty and sweet foods.”
Luckily, she has an experienced mummy mate on hand. “Eva’s turned to Victoria for help on how to bounce back,” an insider tells
heat. “Victoria has been a good source of advice for her in the past with relationship problems, so she’s someone Eva often turns to. She wants her friend to come up with a sensible, healthy plan for her, as Victoria looked great after her four babies. Eva’s also begging Victoria to design post-baby outfits to make her feel hot again. She can’t think of anyone better to help her reclaim her body.”
And insiders say Victoria, 43, who has Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 13, and Harper, six, with husband David, has shared her top five yummy-mummy tips for looking great as a new parent. “As well as sticking to a healthy balanced diet, Victoria told Eva that one of her big secrets is having a separate fridge. She’s also told her to stock up on juices for every day of the week, and has given Eva a daily exercise plan. Finally, she’s promised to style her post-birth as what you wear can make a big difference to how you feel. Victoria’s reassured her she looks great and will bounce back. She’s keeping Eva’s confidence up.”
