SCARLETT: ‘Why does everyone hate me?’
She can’t do anything right at the moment
To say it’s been a tough few weeks for Scarlett Moffatt would be an understatement. After being accused of cheating her fans with her fitness DVD, it’s now been claimed she also took diet pills. Coupled with the fact she’s apparently upset her new neighbours and been targeted for her TV hosting skills, it’s understandable she thinks people are out to get her.
“Scarlett is so upset about all the hate she’s getting,” an insider tells heat. “She knows being criticised is part of being famous, but what she’s had to deal with is too much. She keeps asking what people are going to have a go at her for next?” Scarlett’s problems began when it was revealed her fitness DVD was a sham and she had secretly been attending tough boot camps to lose 3st. It’s now claimed she took diet pills, although her spokesperson insists she didn’t know what they were. It was also reported that her neighbours disapprove of her £300k new-build house in their picturesque Northeast village. One resident moaned, “It’s an eyesore that sticks out like a sore thumb.” To add to her woes, she’s been ridiculed by viewers of Saturday Night Takeaway with one posting, “Think it’s about time they axe Scarlett... all she does is scream and freak out.” Our source adds, “Scarlett knows people’s opinions change, and she’s not always going to be the golden girl. But she says she doesn’t deserve all this criticism and it’s really getting her down.”
