There’s no denying Vic is a bit of a genius when it comes to creating a multimillionpound business. She’s the brains behind Brand Beckham – and now she’s determined to do the same with her children.
After pushing her kids to achieve their dreams by helping to launch Brooklyn’s photography and Cruz’s singing careers, it seems she’s set her sights on Romeo becoming a huge star in the tennis world, even though he doesn’t actually play at a professional level.
“Vic wants the best for her children and knows it will be impossible for them to have ‘normal’ careers, so she’s carving out a niche for all of them,” our insider says. “Romeo started out modelling when he was ten, but recently he’s shown a real flare for tennis, and while he’s not quite good enough to turn pro, that hasn’t stopped Vic supporting him. She’s been looking at sponsorship deals and wants his Instagram page to be tennis focused, so he can become an influencer and make a name for himself that way.”
While he was in Miami, Romeo had a private lesson with former world number one Caroline Wozniacki and was also regularly promoting Wilson tennis racquets and equipment on his Instagram page.
And when they got to LA, the teenager was pictured shopping at the Wilson store, exercising some perfect product placement.
Ah, there’s no denying that boy is a Beckham.
