OHMMM MY GOD! Jen gets Brad into meditation

He’s putting the (sexy) man in mantra

Every A-lister needs a spiritual guru, so we’re delighted to hear that Brad Pitt has got himself a good one: ex wife-turned-bestie Jennifer Aniston. Word is, the pair have been bonding over their mutual love of transcendental meditation (TM), after Jen introduced Brad to the ancient practice. What’s more, their enjoyment of some spiritual downtime has brought them even closer together – news that, let’s be honest, brings us all one step closer to Nirvana. “Since Brad gave up smoking weed and drinking alcohol – his old way of chilling out – he’s needed a new outlet to de-stress,” an insider close to the 54-year-old actor tells heat.

Brad has cited his bad habits as massive factors in the breakdown of his and Angelina Jolie’s marriage in 2016. We’re told, “He says the TM is helping enormously with his sobriety, which is letting him focus on his goals as an artist and an actor. In fact, it was Jen who suggested he try it, and now she says they could even meditate and work on healing together.” The 49-year-old actress has long been a fan of TM, which involves repeating a mantra to yourself for 20 minutes in order to achieve peace of mind. Since announcing her split from husband of two years Justin Theroux in February, she’s said to have developed an even more devout practice. An insider from the LA spiritual circuit tells us that Jen and Brad could reap huge benefits from this ancient Indian art. “It’s a simple but effective technique, which can be useful in situations of great stress,” we’re told.

Jen herself has credited meditation for changing her life, saying in 2014, “Feeling good comes from within. Loving who you are and being kind to yourself are the keys to confidence, and meditation is helpful.” And it seems that her former husband, who she divorced in 2005, agrees.

If you ask us, exes who pray together, stay together, so it can only be a matter of time before Brad and Jen make things official again. Let’s just hope she has him repeating the mantra, “I love Jen-an, I love Jen-an.”
