Anyone for tennis? Posh’s plans for Romeo as she looks to expand Brand Beckham
The famous brood lap up the opportunity to spend some quality time together
When you love each other as much as the Beckhams do, every day is a holiday. But, being the busy bees that they are, it can be hard to spend quality time together – especially now that David’s focusing on his new football team in Miami, Brooklyn’s supposedly working hard (or hardly working?) at art school in New York, and Victoria and their other three kids are slogging away in London. So it’s not surprising that, during the school holidays, they jump at the chance to get away from it all and reconnect en masse. Especially when it involves hanging off the edge of a luxury yacht with their A-list friends.
The whole gang began their travels by flying into Florida over the long Easter weekend, starting their adventures at the Miami Open men’s tennis final. They then headed off to lap up the sun on close mate Marc Anthony’s enormous boat, which came complete with inflatables to keep the kids happy and jet skis for the adults.
The following day, the group split so that Vic and six-year-old Harper could fit in some girlie preening with a manicure sesh. Then, it was back to more full-on family action as they headed for their LA mansion, where they wasted no time in rolling up their sleeves and getting busy in the kitchen. Unsurprisingly, Vic was on camera duty (let’s face it, she’s not known for her culinary skills), as younger sons Romeo, 15, and Cruz, 13, dipped strawberries in melted chocolate… Seriously, how do they even make domestic life look decadent?
The close-knit family have always cherished their holidays, but recently, the opportunity to hang out together has become even more important. With David having launched Fútbol Miami earlier this year, his work commitments in the near future will keep him very busy.
Meanwhile, these days, 19-year-old Brooklyn is an independent man-about-town, and spends a lot of his down-time making kissy faces at girlfriend Chloë Moretz. That’s why seeing brand Beckham in these candid moments, sharing the joy of togetherness, warms our hearts.
