Meghan hopes Harry turns up on time for their wedding, as he plans a last-minute do

He’s going to need to be on his best behaviour

Yes, he’s in love. And yes, it’s adorable, but there is a tiny part of us that misses the old Prince Harry. The headlinegrabbing, inappropriately dressed, drunk and disorderly Harry. So, you can imagine how thrilled we were to hear he’s planning one final night out with the lads – on the actual night before his wedding. No wonder his fiancée Meghan Markle is less than keen.

“Harry wants to spend his final night as a bachelor kicking back and relaxing with his mates,” our source says. “Of course Meghan wants him to have fun, but she’s told him to make sure he’s in good shape for the altar the next day. Some of his friends are very wild and she is terrified they might play a prank on him – her worst nightmare is he’ll be late for their big day, although she knows he can’t wait to get married.”

The wedding will take place at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, at 12pm on Saturday 19 May, assuming Harry gets there in one piece.

Harry’s mates are fresh from organising the Prince’s stag do, believed to be taking place any day now at a top-secret location abroad, and we’re told, “The pre-wedding bash is being organised by Skippy [aka Harry’s long-time wingman Tom Inskip, who accompanied Harry on THAT infamous Vegas weekend in 2012, where he was photographed naked after reportedly playing strip billiards].” The insider adds his other close buddy, Guy Pelly – who is famed for wild nights out with Harry – will also be going.

Harry has form for an ill-timed big night out. Back in 2011, the night before Wills and Kate tied the knot, a boozy Hazza is said to have decided to jump from a 6ft balcony and injured his ankle, which perhaps accounted for his slightly dishevelled look at the ceremony.

While the plan for Harry’s last night out sounds reasonably casual – a bit of a bar crawl ending up in an exclusive London club – we’re told it hasn’t stopped Meghan worrying. “She knows how things can get out of hand when Harry’s with his friends – he has been quite open with her about his past boozy exploits,” our insider continues. “She’d much rather he had a quiet night in, but Harry says it means a lot to him to have one last night out with his mates before they tie the knot. She gets this, but people are worried she’ll be on edge.”

You and us both, Megs.
