Scarlett’s ex tries to win her back

Apparently Lee isn’t a ‘cheating, pathological liar’

Having just returned from a sun-filled holiday in Florida, Scarlett Moffatt has jetted off to Vietnam with a friend on what can only be described as Scarlett’s Break Up Tour 2018. The 28 year old recently split with boyfriend Lee Wilkinson, after branding him a “cheating, pathological liar” on social media.

And it seems the Scarlett-shaped hole in his life has left Lee keen to get his girl back. Last week, the male stripper denied Scarlett’s accusations, telling a newspaper, “I’m not a cheating, pathological liar. I have not actually cheated.”

After Scarlett ranted that, “Unless you’re Henry VIII, one girl is enough”, Lee now claims that he was simply “being human” by messaging an ex-girlfriend. He says, “All I did was message my ex. When I finished with [her], she sent me loads of messages, and I didn’t reply to them. She was going through a difficult time, but I left it there because I was trying to move on. Three months down the line, my conscience started getting the better of me, so I got in touch. That’s all.”

What Lee didn’t count on was his ex-girlfriend forwarding screenshots of the message to Scarlett. “I was trying to be a good person, and it backfired on me. I’ve been getting loads of hate over it on Instagram,” he says.

Lee was supposed to accompany Scarlett on her trip to Florida, but was quickly replaced by friend Liam Irvin instead. However, the Northerner insists he spoke to Scarlett on the phone “quite a lot” over the week, and believes they’ll get back together.

Scarlett has been having a tough time of late, and recently spoke about struggling with the exposure of her “sham” DVD, alongside rumours of a romance with Ant Mcpartlin.

She said, “There have been times these past weeks when I’ve wanted to cry and pull a duvet over my head, and I’ve had to push myself to get out of bed.”

In particular, Scarlett was keen to put the Ant rumours to rest, once and for all, saying, “That’s not a story. Ant is like my big brother. It’s so ludicrous it didn’t warrant a response. Everyone knows how silly it is. I can laugh about it.” n
