1 CROWNING GLORY
◆Want to make a serious statement? Go for a glitter ‘crown’. Preglued embellishments like this Barry M festival set take the hard work out of the trend. Simply apply where you want them for instant glam.
◆For added hold, mist with a setting spray to ensure your gems don’t slip or slide.
UPGRADE:
Using a small, flat brush, apply a glitter gel around your gem details. Build up the effect by applying both small and large glitter. Finish by using a cotton bud to apply little white dots around the edges of the glitter.
2 LUXE LIPS
◆ Neon lips are a simple way to dazzle. Start by applying a lip liner a shade lighter than your chosen lipstick.
◆ Next, using a lip brush, apply your lip colour. For real staying power, go for a matte shade – they won’t budge, no matter how late you party.
UPGRADE:
◆ Using glitter glue, start to apply crystals to your top lip – larger gems around the edges and smaller ones in the centre. Build these until your top lip is covered. Finish by applying a slick of gloss to the bottom lip.
3 BOLD EYES
◆This look is all about the colour, so don’t be afraid to go bright. Start by buffing a hot pink all over the lid, taking it out at the outer corner to create a winged shape.
◆Apply a purple liner to the waterline and upper lash line. Smudge outwards for a smokey effect. Then take a coral shade and lightly buff this onto the upper brow bone. Finish with fake lashes.
