Love Island exclusives: Megan’s surgery, ‘player’ Alex and more…

The dumped Love Islander has had an education

- Charlotte oliver

She made a lasting impression during her short stay in the villa, thanks to her questioning whether leaving the EU would mean “we won’t have any trees”. But Hayley Hughes’ quest for love came to a halt last week, when she and partner Charlie Frederick were booted off Love Island. Speaking to heat, they reveal who the horniest islanders are, while Hayley (who actually went to uni, though she dropped out after a year) tells us she’s not as daft as people say. Oh, and she’s learnt what Brexit is now – which is promising, but where are we going to get our political discourse from now? The news?

So, were you playing up the ditzy blonde thing? Hayley:

I’m not saying I’m not an intelligent girl, I clearly am, but on that subject [Brexit], I seriously don’t have a clue. But the girls explained it. They really helped me out and educated me, so I have more of an understanding now.

What did you think about the public saying you were mean to Charlie? H: It’s not that I was mean,

I’ve just been true to my own self and my own emotions. I’ve got no regrets. Those people who have commented can’t really say much, because they don’t know what it’s like to be in the villa.

Who do you reckon will be the first to have sex in the villa? Charlie:

Rosie and Adam. They’re the most sexual in there and they really do fancy each other.

H: The girls don’t want to rush into it. If it was down to the lads, they’d be cracking on from day one. Adam is obviously a ladies’ man, but right now, things are going well for him and Rosie. If someone came in who he was attracted to, he might turn his head.

Meanwhile, who are the biggest game-players? C:

No one’s playing a game, but if some other islanders went in there, some people’s heads would turn more.

H: For the time being, everyone’s being true to their feelings, but things change every day. But I think the most genuine couples in there are Wes and Laura and Jack and Dani.
