The exes are at war… again
Katie Price’s “perfect” family picture was rocked last week after she confirmed that children Junior, 13, and Princess, ten, are living with dad Peter Andre indefinitely. A spokesperson for Katie said that the pair “agreed it best” while Katie is sorting her split from her third husband, Kieran Hayler.
However, it seems behind closed doors, it was Pete who pushed to keep the kids – because he’s unhappy about Katie moving new man Kris Boyson into the family home after just a few weeks of knowing him.
A source revealed, “The final straw for Pete came when he returned from holiday recently. He discovered Katie’s new boyfriend – a man he’s never even met – had been sent on his own to pick up and drive Princess and Junior back to their mum’s.”
Katie, 40, has been dating personal trainer Kris – who, at 29, is 11 years her junior – since last month, after they met on a night out. He moved in almost straightaway, after she finally kicked out cheating husband Kieran, and is now training Katie’s son Harvey, 16.
Pete is said to have told Katie to sort out her wild lifestyle or else she will not get Junior and Princess back – the mum of five even missed spending Junior’s 13th birthday with him last week.
An insider close to the reality star has told heat that, while Katie is publicly in agreement with Pete, privately, “She is furious with him for implying she’s being a bad mother. She loves her kids and knows she’s
a great mum – having a new boyfriend doesn’t change that. Kris is great with the children and she trusts him around them.”
Katie and Peter were married for just over three years before splitting acrimoniously in 2009. This is not the first time the pair have argued over their children. When Katie married Alex Reid in 2010, Pete was reduced to tears during a TV interview and stated, “No one is going to take my kids away from me and I will fight to the death for that. I will die for those children.”
In a bid to be seen as the perfect mum over the past week, Katie – who’s also mum to Jett, four, and Bunny, three – has gone overboard with happy family snaps on Instagram. It’s also been revealed she’s had a new tattoo of a bow done to represent her family “being tied together forever”. Katie and Peter – who have joint custody – are now said to only be speaking through their law yers, but we’re told her position is firm.
Our insider says, “There’s no way Pete can stop Katie seeing and having Princess and Junior. They have a legal agreement in place. She won’t be dictated to about who she can and can’t have in her house.”
