Heartbroken Caz Flack is finding it hard to move on from Andrew Brady (despite the lying)
The star’s heartbroken – but will she take him back?
Caroline Flack has had her fair share of heartbreak over the years, but last week was a real corker. The TV presenter split with fiancé Andrew Brady – then found out he’d met with producers of reality show Celebs Go Dating just one day later. Ouch.
Caroline revealed the break-up in a statement, saying, “I’m sad to announce that Andrew and I have decided to part ways. Unfortunately, it was not to be. I wish him all the best. At least there’s a Villa waiting for me. It’s back to the ol’ grafting.” But Andrew, 27, just pipped Caroline to the post – posting an Instagram story announcing the split three minutes before her.
Caroline was said to be hoping to keep the split private for a while, and a source said she believes he may have been cheating during their sevenmonth relationship. They also revealed, “At this point, she feels like he has used her so much, and that he’s full of lies.”
But an insider close to Caroline tells us that her friends are worried Andrew will try to worm his way back into her life – as he has done in the past.
Our source reveals, “She says she’s done with Andrew and his ways, as she feels he’s been lying to her all this time. But some friends think he could win her round again. She’s still in love with him and they have split up twice before. He seems to have quite a hold over her. Everyone is telling her that she’s got to walk away for good, and they all hope that she will listen this time.”
In a second blow to Caroline, she discovered that Andrew had been in talks with producers on Celebs Go Dating. On her personal Facebook page, Caroline wrote, “When you find out your fiancé had been planning a meeting to go on Celebs Go Dating, and then has a meeting the day AFTER you break up. IN UTTER SHOCK. Kill me now.”
Andrew then posted on Twitter, saying that he was “ashamed”, but, “When someone has no money and nothing to lose, they tend to do crazy, irrational things.”
Now we are told, “Caroline has still been wearing her engagement ring, which is a bit worrying for her friends and family. She just needs to stay strong and not let him get her back.”
