Picture Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, but with 32GG boobs and a mega-botoxed face, and you’ll get some understanding of the person/persona that is Katie Price/jordan. While Jordan was initially the bigger star of the two, first finding fame as a ’90s glamour model with a penchant for dating C-listers and falling out of nightclubs, Katie gradually took hold of the spotlight, rebranding herself as a businesswoman, TV personality and busy mum of five – with a penchant for marrying C-listers.
But in recent months, the 40 year old has been slipping more and more into her former self, preferring wild nights out with her new toy boy Kris Boyson, 29, and drunken club appearances to quiet nights at home on the farm with the kids. Now, we’re told, friends are concerned that Jordan is back with a vengeance, and this time, she’ll be the end of Katie.
“Katie’s still filming for her new reality show My Crazy Life and she’s back to her old tricks, bragging about her partying lifestyle and sexcapades with Kris,” an insider close to the reality star tells heat. “From what her friends and family have seen so far, they’re extremely worried. There’s concern that she’s heading for a full-blown TV meltdown. It’s looking more and more like it’s going to be car-crash telly, rather than the big comeback she’d been hoping for.”
Last month, it was revealed that the star had taken cocaine following the breakdown of her marriage to Kieran Hayler in May – weeks after the split, she went to Belgium with Kris to celebrate her 40th birthday, and she’s currently on holiday with him in Thailand. Meanwhile, her kids’ living situation has become ever more unclear. While she and Kieran appear to be splitting custody of Jett, three, and Bunny, two, her elder children, Junior, 13, and 11-year-old Princess, who she shares with Peter Andre, are currently living full-time with their dad (and are busy being pictured in super-cute family embraces at premieres and press events). While Katie’s away, eldest son Harvey, 16, is staying with her neighbour. Her career is also said be on the brink as bosses at Loose Women – her only regular primetime TV work – are not impressed by her behaviour.
“Everyone is incredibly worried,” says our source. “It’s as though Jordan is back and hell-bent on ruining everything that’s good in her life. She needs to be concentrating on her kids and making sure they all have a secure family life with her, but instead all she wants to do is run off with Kris and behave as though she’s still in her early twenties. Everyone is worried that she could have her kids taken away permanently. But rather than get proper help, she’s just been boozing and dropping hints that she and Kris might even get engaged in Thailand.”
