Step forward Meghan Markle. “Angelina isn’t so much lonely, but restless,” says a source. “She can be quite picky about who she spends time with, but she figures she and Meghan have so much in common, culturally and intellectually. Plus, it would make sense for them to team up on charity initiatives.” While some celebs have big #squads, Angelina’s more of a lone wolf, preferring to spend time with her six kids. But since she and Brad Pitt split, and with their custody battle raging on, the family unit is no longer so tight-knit. “When she’s home in LA, she will see her family, as well as business associates,” our insider tells us. “But in the UK, there’s barely anyone for her to spend time with, apart from stuffy UN contacts. Meg would be like a breath of fresh air.”

Obvs, making the Duchess of Sussex your new BFF is tricky, but we’re told Ange has a cunning plan. Our source explains, “She wants to invite Meghan for tea and take it from there. She’s very good at this type of networking and feels confident she’ll get a response.” They’ll be wearing bestie bracelets in no time.
