How chris is going to steal Gwyneth’s thunder
Actress’ ex has proposal plans
Gwyneth Paltrow isn’t one to do things by halves. After her epic, star-studded engagement party in April, we’re expecting big things for her wedding to TV producer Brad Falchuk in September. But ex-husband Chris Martin could put a spanner in the works by planning something that might just steal her spotlight. And an insider close to the actress tells us Gwyn’s not best pleased at the news.
“Gwyneth is absolutely furious, as Chris has been hinting that he’s ready to take things to the next level with Dakota [Johnson, his girlfriend]. They had a massive row and Gwyneth asked him why he couldn’t at least hold off until she gets her wedding out of the way.”
Chris has been dating Dakota since October last year and things are apparently going fantastically well. We’re told, “Chris feels that he’s entitled to be happy and doesn’t see why Gwyneth should stand in the way of that. All this time Gwyneth thought that Chris was just having yet another fling with a young actress, but the truth is Chris and Dakota are deeply in love with each other.”
However, Gwyneth, 45 – who has daughter Apple, 14, and son Moses, 12, with Chris – doesn’t see it that way. Our insider says, “Gwyneth can’t help but feel Chris is doing whatever he can to sabotage her special day, when he claims he’s just following his heart,” our source explains. “It’s all getting really tense between them and neither one of them knows how to get out of this mess.”
