Chrissy Teigen is a global treasure that must be protected at all costs. She’s the queen of social media clapbacks, a stunning model, and a supermum to boot. And, two months after the birth of her son Miles, Chrissy has been on Instagram to remind us why we love her all over again.

While on holiday with her family in Bali, the star posted a video of her stretch marks on Instagram with the label “mom bod”. Wearing just her bikini bottoms and cuddling up to her husband, singer John Legend, Chrissy said in reference to her stretch marks, “I guess these just aren’t going to go away. This is my new body.”

Fans were thrilled to see Chrissy – who’s also mum to two-year-old Luna – showing off her figure, and many praised her for not being hung up on having the so-called “perfect” body, especially as she has only recently given birth. Chrissy commented further on the notion of “body confidence” a day later with tweets summing up her feelings. “Instagram is crazy,” she wrote. “I think it’s awesome people have killer bodies and are proud to show them off (I really do!!), but I know how hard it can be to forget what (for lack of a better word) regular ol’ bodies look like when everyone looks bonkers amazing. Also I don’t really call this ‘body confidence’ because I’m not quite there yet. I’m still super insecure. I’m just happy that I can make anyone else out there feel better about themselves!”

Fans responded in their thousands with comments like, “Thank you for talking about this and being honest. It matters,” and “It shows a relatable side to you that many wouldn’t consider possible, based on your profession.
