Ange: ‘I’ll do anything to stop Brad having the kids’

Almost two years since their split, you’d think the simmering fury between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt might’ve cooled – but you’d be wrong. Last week, things erupted once more after Ange filed new court documents claiming Brad had “paid no meaningful child support” since their split in September 2016. In return, Brad, 54, hit back with papers of his own, insisting he’d paid $1million for the care of his six children and given her $8m to buy a new home, which she claimed was a loan she will have to pay interest on. Now, heat has been told this latest drama is Ange’s way of taking control of the situation. “Ange will seemingly do anything to keep Brad away from the kids as much as she can,” says an insider close to the pair, who were together for 13 years and are parents to Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and ten-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. “She’s really feeling the stress at the moment – she’s not fun to be around sometimes. If anyone dares offer advice about Brad, she gets really angry.”
This latest drama comes after a judge ruled that Ange had to allow Brad more access, saying, “It is critical that each of the children have a healthy and strong relationship with their father.” The insider adds, “Angie’s always been incredibly stubborn, but this is another level. She never thought the legal system would be so sympathetic to Brad, and it’s really stressing her out.”
