Mel B’s nanny has been mouthing off – and the former Spice Girl isn’t happy about it
She’s conquering Hollywood with a whole new look
Gone are the days of the meat dress and the sky-high, sci-fi heels. Lady Gaga wowed fans last week with her dramatic look at Venice Film Festival, dressed in a pale pink feather gown by Valentino Haute Couture. And heat has been told the gown was a very conscious part of Gaga’s latest reinvention.
“Lady Gaga is going through a major identity crisis as she tries to revamp her image,” our source says. “She just can’t decide who she wants to be, now that she’s gearing up for what is possibly her last shot at a major comeback.”
The 32 year old was attending the film festival to debut her new film A Star Is Born, alongside producer, director and star, Bradley Cooper. Gaga – whose real name is Stefani Germanotta – stars as singer Ally, who falls in love with an alcoholic country musician, played by Bradley.
But it seems Gaga’s desire to take on the role of Hollywood actress has caused a bit of a crisis in the pop star’s life. We’re told, “One day, she’s the sexy screen siren, the next, she’s the avantgarde pop princess. She is constantly driving her stylist crazy with all her demands, because at the end of the day, she just doesn’t know what she wants or who she wants to be.”
The New York-born singer, who’s currently dating talent agent Christian Carino, first found global success in 2008, and her unique fashion sense had a huge impact on fans. From her iconic meat dress to a hat made of hair – and every bubble dress and giant furry coat in between – the star’s looks became as famous as her music. And yet, now, we’re told Gaga is worried she needs to shake things up. “She hit it so big with her crazy costumes, but she can’t go back to all that again and she realises she may have boxed herself in,” says our source. “She’s desperate to figure out her image – and fast.”
