Next up: a honeymoon and a baby
Oh, to be a fly on the office wall of Gwyneth Paltrow’s wedding planner. After an eight-month engagement – and rumours of a dreaded wedding hashtag with #thefaltrows – reports at the weekend claimed the actress had walked down the aisle with her fiancé Brad Falchuk in the Hamptons. And with her big day done, next on the agenda is an epic honeymoon, and then – just maybe – a baby.
“The honeymoon will probably be several short trips,” says an insider close to Gwyneth, 46, who has been with producer Brad, 47, since 2014, and recently called it her first “adult relationship”, throwing shade at her ten-year marriage to Coldplay’s Chris Martin. “First, they want to go somewhere tropical, such as Fiji or the Maldives. Then, Gwyn wants to stay in a floating hotel on stilts in the South Pacific Ocean. They’re also looking to visit Rome, and have a week at a five-star spa in Cabo, Mexico.”
And when they get back, insiders say the couple – who are both divorced with two kids each – could be looking at expanding their family. Our insider adds, “Publicly, Gwyneth has shot down suggestions that she and Brad will have children. But, privately, she has said they are very open to having a baby. She’d probably go the surrogate or adoption route, and it’s something they’ll probably set in motion within six months. Gwyneth is just so excited about the future. With Chris, it always felt like she was having to force something that didn’t feel quite natural.
