Bride-to-be Billie Faiers has set a date AT LAST
And she’s found her wedding dress, too
When you’ve been engaged for over four years, you better believe a lot of thought has gone into what your big day will look like. And as Billie Faiers finally sets a date for her wedding to Greg Shepherd – May 2019, mark it on your calendars – the reality star is frantically ensuring every last detail is perfect.
Last week, the former TOWIE star was seen finalising the most important bit of any decent wedding: the dress. The 28 year old was pictured at a bridal event in London, where she was also filming for her reality show The Mummy Diaries. She shared images of herself viewing some dazzling white gowns, commenting, “After trying on a lot of dresses – and I mean A LOT – I am soooo excited I have found my dream dress.”
Billie and Greg, 33, recently celebrated six years together with an anniversary trip to Capri. The pair have two children – Nelly, four, and Arthur, one – and got engaged in the Maldives back in February 2014. They’ve discussed plans to return there for their nuptials next year, and even flew over to the South Asian state earlier this year to scope out venues. But last week, Billie hinted that she’s also planning a reception back here in the UK, asking fans on Instagram, “I’m looking for a marquee that attaches/sits flush to the back of the house.”
Billie recently admitted, “After waiting so long, I want it to be perfect,” which must be why she’s already had two hen dos – nine months before she even walks down the aisle. The TV star – whose sister Sam, 27, is set to be maid of honour – travelled to Ibiza in August with a massive group of friends, including former TOWIE co-star Ferne Mccann. They shared a series of boozy pictures as they partied at the infamous Ocean Beach Club in red swimsuits, as well as nights out at Blue Marlin and Ants at Ushuaia. Billie dressed as Wonder Woman for one outing, and was seen being carried around by waiters, holding a bottle of Champagne.
It’s going to be tough to top all that next May, but we believe in you, Bill. n
