Lisa devastated over Ant wedding rumours

They’ll need to divorce before he says ‘I do’ again

- Katie Holloway

Afriend recently described Ant Mcpartlin as “happier than ever” and it seems girlfriend Anne-marie Corbett is a large part of that. In fact, a source tells us Ant is ready to marry his former PA, but has one small obstacle in his way – estranged wife Lisa Armstrong.

“It’s no secret that Ant wants to marry Anne-marie – he’s had such a tough time with rehab and his divorce, and a wedding would mark a fresh start for him and Anne-marie. It’ll most likely be a big event with all his celeb friends,” an insider tells heat. “However, Lisa feels this is his way of rubbing her nose in his happiness once more.”

Ant and Anne-marie – who are also rumoured to be keen on starting a family – were pictured going to see Motown: The Musical last week, with Ant’s mother, Christine Woodhall, joining them. And we’re told Lisa, 41, has been finding it especially difficult to see the couple together. “She’s not been coping well at all seeing Ant move on so quickly and dealing with the stories about them wanting to have kids together, and the idea of a big wedding has just brought back all the painful memories. They haven’t even got the divorce settled yet, so she can’t believe he’s apparently making all these plans. She’s been doing her best to concentrate on work to take her mind off things, but it seems like every time she goes on her phone she sees pictures of Ant and Anne-marie living what used to be her life. It makes her sick.”

Over the last couple of weeks, Lisa has got stuck back into work as a make-up artist on Strictly

Come Dancing, but behind closed doors our source tells us she’s struggling. “Hearing about stuff like wedding plans is only upsetting her further,” we’re told. “It’s made her want to drag her heels with the divorce and not just give Ant what he wants. Lisa feels she’s already been replaced by Anne-marie, and it stings that she used to be close to her. She’s said that it feels like she’s not only stolen her husband, but her whole life, too.”
