Posh is worried over her husband’s property hunt

With David Beckham preparing to launch his new football team in Miami, it made total sense that the family would sell their Los Angeles home and start looking for a property in Florida. So it’s no wonder Victoria isn’t pleased to hear her husband is now looking for a lads’ pad to buy back in LA.

An insider close to Victoria, 44, and David, 43, tells heat, “They made a huge profit from their Beverly Hills place, and Vic was really looking forward to getting rid of the headache of having to run another home. She thought the chapter of them living in LA had ended, but David has been planning to find himself somewhere that’s a lot smaller that can act as a west coast base for him. Vic is concerned, because they all look like places made for hosting parties with friends and not for a couple with four children.”

The Beckhams sold their Beverly Hills mansion for around £25.3m – £8.4m more than what they paid for it in 2007 – and they also own a property in west London and a country retreat in the Cotswolds.

But it seems David can’t quite let go of the LA lifestyle. “He’s adamant that he still wants to be part of the LA scene, going to Soulcycle and meeting up with all his buddies there, but Vic can’t help but feel as though she’s being pushed out of it all. He’s said if he doesn’t find a place, he’ll have to stay at [infamous party hotel] The Chateau Marmont, which she’s also not keen on. She’s worried it could be driving a bigger wedge between them.”

And it’s not just David who is keen to have a lad pad in the Beckham property portfolio. “David is also telling Vic that they need to have somewhere there for Brooklyn, as he loves LA and thinks it’s a great place to do his photography work. He’s promised Brooklyn that he’s going to find somewhere that he’s free to use as well as having a base for all his mates to party at, which of course is annoying Vic. She sometimes feels that David is refusing to grow up and it’s as though he doesn’t want to spend as much quality time as possible with her at their London home.”
