We’ve all had a public barney or two. But to have one when you’re dressed up to the nines, standing in front of the paps, and desperately trying not to smudge your make-up is particularly hard-going. So, we really feel for Sofia Richie, who last week was pictured midargument with her beau Scott Disick during a day at the races in Melbourne. The 20 year old may have been wearing a black veil, but there was no hiding her tears. And, according to insiders, it was all down to Scott’s relationship with baby mama Kourtney Kardashian.
“Sofia puts on a brave face in public, but she seems jealous as hell about Scott and Kourtney recently. People are worried that she’s losing her grip on the situation,” an insider tells heat. “She heavily suspects that Scott and Kourt have been sleeping together and, while she’s able to put it out of her mind most of the time, sometimes it just consumes her. That’s what happened at the races. Scott was texting Kourtney right in front of her and she hit the roof.”
As heat reported last week, Scott, 35, and Kourtney, 39, have recently taken their rekindled relationship to the next level, and have even been meeting for not-so-secret hook-ups. But while Scott is said to be keen for them to get back together, Kourtney would rather keep her ex of nine years – and father to their three children, Mason, eight, Penelope, six, and Reign, three – as a no-strings booty call. Unfortunately, for Sofia, this means Scott’s not quite done with her.
“Sofia confronted him about the situation, but he fobbed her off and just rolled his eyes,” we’re told. “He really takes her for granted and gets upset when she tries to stick up for herself. Sofia’s starting to open her eyes more about how unreasonable Scott is, but ultimately, she’s still under his spell.”
Come on, Sofia, wipe away those tears and ditch the Disick. At this point, he’s even making your ex, Justin Bieber, look like an upstanding gent. Says it all, really.
