Jen-an’s planning a big bash for her 50th next year – and Brad Pitt’s top of the guest list

We can’t even begin to imagine how glitzy the guest list for a Jennifer Aniston birthday party is, but with the actress preparing for her 50th birthday next February, it’s guaranteed to be the most A-list do ever. Not least because a source tells heat that ex-husband Brad Pitt has already RSVP’D with a big, fat “Yes”.

“Jennifer is bored of pussy-footing around the subject of their friendship, she wants it out in the open that she and Brad are back in touch and cannot wait to see the look on everyone’s faces when he turns up at her party.”

Brad split acrimoniously from wife Angelina Jolie in 2016, and has reportedly been back in touch with Jen – his first wife – ever since. “He’s been told about the party and promised Jen he’ll be there, barring a catastrophe. Brad agrees there’s no need for their friendship to be under the radar any more and he’s touched that she wants to make this point on such a special occasion. Of course, it’ll annoy Angelina, but neither Brad nor Jen really care what she thinks.”

Jen has always had a big group of showbiz friends and there’s no doubt they’ll be joining her to celebrate next February. We’re told, “The guest list writes itself in many ways. The likes of Jason Bateman and his wife [Amanda Anka], Courteney Cox, Laura Dern, Sting and Trudie Styler – it’s a given those guys will be there.”

As well as a party – most likely, we’re told, at her mansion in Bel Air – our insider says the actress will be jetting off for some birthday sunshine, too. “Jen will probably nip off to Cabo or somewhere else tropical, like Hawaii or the Bahamas with a smaller group of friends headed up by Jason and Amanda,” they say. “But her big bash will be the main celebration, and everyone in her life – including Brad – can’t wait.” n Katie Holloway
