It looks like Kylie Jenner’s daughter Stormi could be having a, er, newborn auntie or uncle to play with soon, thanks to Caitlyn Jenner. We can reveal that 68-year-old Caitlyn and her 22-year-old fiancée Sophia Hutchins are pushing ahead with plans to have a baby next year, following their spring wedding.
Since she’s moved on from the Kardashians, parent-of-six Cait is keen to start a new family with Sophia, who is also transgender. Apparently, their first plan of action is to use Caitlyn’s frozen sperm to impregnate a surrogate. If that fails, they’ll turn to adoption.
“A baby will follow soon after they get married,” our insider tells us. “It’s something they’ve talked about since the day they met. They’ve been auditioning surrogates while also filling out adoption papers, and exploring all the options that are open to them. It’s a process, but they want their first child by autumn next year and are so excited.
“Caitlyn was never sure how her transgender life would look, and had the foresight to freeze sperm samples just in case she met the right person and wanted more children.”
While she remains close to daughters Kendall, 23, and Kylie, 21, by her third wife Kris Jenner, Caitlyn is now virtually estranged from the majority of her past Kardashian family. And her youngest daughters weren’t present at Caitlyn’s recent Thanksgiving party, where she proudly posed surrounded by her other children and grandchildren from her first and second marriages.
Caitlyn is looking forward to filling her home with children again – and has an unlikely ally in Kim Kardashian, 38, who used a surrogate for her third child, Chicago. “Cait and Sophia are looking at using the same agency in San Diego that Kim used,” we’re told. “Even though things aren’t exactly rosy between the Kardashians and Caitlyn, Kim is giving them advice on how to go about everything, because she wouldn’t want their family feud to affect the life of an innocent child.”
