Nearly at the end of a difficult pregnancy
Ready to pop” is not quite the phrase we’d use to describe Jessica Simpson. In fact, “fit to burst” might be more appropriate. The 38 year old is pregnant with her third child, and appears to be ready to drop any day. Well, any minute, really.
Jessica is already mum to daughter Maxwell, six, and five-year-old son Ace with her EX-NFL player husband Eric Johnson, who she married in the summer of 2014. The former actress and singer announced her pregnancy on Instagram, revealing she was expecting a girl. Posting a snap of her kids surrounded by pink balloons, she wrote, “This little baby girl will make us a family of five. We couldn’t be happier to announce this precious blessing of life.”
Jessica has kept her fans updated on her difficult pregnancy, including showing off multiple snaps of her swollen feet. She recently told fans she’d suffered with bronchitis, anxiety, and insomnia during the pregnancy, and admitted, “I can’t wait to have a waist again, and not waddle.”
Her excitement at the prospect of her new baby girl is her saving grace, after she posted a snap of her children and captioned it, “The one thing that gets me through this pregnancy is knowing I’ll get another one of these cuties.”
