Is the 20-year-old romantic already planning their nuptials?
Tommy Fury may only be 20, but going by his numerous emotional declarations to Mollymae Hague over the last few weeks, it’s clear the boxer is thinking long-term for his little family. That’s Molly-mae and Ellie Bellie, of course.
Speaking to heat before entering the villa, Tommy told us he was looking to meet “a knockout girl to take me off my feet” in the Love Island villa. And it seems he’s found just that in the 19-year-old social influencer.
In fact, before going into the villa, Tommy told us his ideal for potential wife material was 22-year-old singer and model Pia Mia, who is a dead ringer for Molly-mae. “I’d wife her off now if I could – 100 per cent,” he told
us. So, we’re imagining he’s harbouring similar plans for his new love – especially as his boxing legend brother Tyson married his childhood sweetheart at 21.
As a professional boxer, Tommy is aware that people may jump to conclusions about him. But he was keen to make it clear that, while he’s a “boxer by trade”, he’s really just a “big cuddly teddy bear” who wants nothing more than to have a girl he can watch cheesy emotional films with. Seriously, ladies – this is the blue-eyed dreamboat who admitted to us that he has shed a tear to Marley And Me.
And having recently told Molly-mae, “Everything I’ve been looking for, I’ve found in you”, we are sure Tommy is already drawing up plans for their future. After all, he only has a year to plan the big white wedding, if he’s following Tyson’s schedule.
Tyson and his wife Paris have five children together, although Paris once admitted, “Tyson has said he wants ten kids, and I’d be happy with that. God willing, we’ll get as many as God gives us.”
Paris has also spoken about the culture of the traveller community she and the Furys grew up in, where couples often marry young, and said that she and Tyson didn’t consummate their relationship until after they were married.
“Even after we got engaged, Tyson would sleep in a caravan at my parents’ home, while I slept inside the house,” she said. “We didn’t sleep together until after we got married. That is the travellers’ way.”
But Tommy may have different ideas when it comes to “doing bits” with Molly-mae. Before going into the villa, he told heat his stance on sex on TV was, of course, “It is what it is!” n
