‘i hate my body – it’s gone to pot!’
When we were invited to an advance screening of the latest series of Katie Price’s show My Crazy Life, we naturally expected there to be some “crazy” drama from the star of the show. It is The Pricey, after all. So, it wasn’t too much of a surprise to be told that Katie
actually wouldn’t be making her scheduled appearance because she was feeling “ill”.
The star herself tweeted later in the day, “Thank you for everyone who attended my press screening of #Kpmycrazylife this morning. Apologies to everybody for my absence, I am unwell, but I am sure you will all enjoy the new series. Thank you for being understanding.”
While it may have nothing to do with her sudden illness, the 41 year old did seem to spend most of the previous afternoon at a pub with bodyguard Neil Tawse, and her daughter, Bunny. An insider said, “She had a few drinks and they were talking for ages. She ended up having a big night and wasn’t feeling well the next day.”
The former glamour model still managed to make an impression during a sneak preview of the first episode of her new series. Awkward scenes show Katie visiting a mediator with exhusband Kieran Hayler to discuss custody of their children, Jett, five, and Bunny, four. When querying which parent the kids would be with on their birthdays, Katie proceeds to get her phone out to Google the dates of their birthdays, until Kieran stops her, telling her he is fully aware of the dates his children were born.
We also get a glimpse of Katie’s latest surgery excursion, as she jets off to Turkey to have liposuction (“from the knees up”, as Katie tells boyfriend Kris Boyson), as well as having her own fat injected into her bum and under her eyes.
The mum of five admits she is having the surgery because she “hates” her body and it’s “gone to pot”.
As she is wheeled away in a hospital gown, she jokingly says “goodbye” to her kids, telling them if she doesn’t wake up from her anaesthetic, they can “have it all”. n
