Amy’s best friend tells us it’s been tough watching her heartbroken girl
Amy Hart has had quite the journey in the Love Island villa. She was undeniably a fan favourite in the first few days – especially after coupling up with then-golden boy Curtis Pritchard – but things went awry for the 26-yearold air hostess last week, after Curtis admitted he wasn’t that into their relationship. One person keeping a close eye on Amy is her mate Hannah Stakim, who tells heat that all she really wants is to give her BFF a big hug… It must have been hard seeing Amy so devastated… It’s always hard seeing a friend that upset – and even harder when you can’t be there to console them. It’s
completely new territory for Amy, she’s never been in this situation before. The word they were using was “heartbreak”. Did you have Curtis pegged for Amy from the beginning? As soon as I saw him, I thought, “He is perfect, he is who I want for Amy.” He was my ideal when I saw the lineup. They just had mad chemistry. There wasn’t anyone else, really. You’ve been running Amy’s social media – how has that been? It’s varied. I’ve enjoyed it, but you do get the negative comments. They were a very small percentage at first, then it got a worse, and now it’s back to being more positive – so we’re happy with that, we’ll take that. Were you worried Amy might make a new “best friend” in the villa? [Laughs] She said before she went in, “Don’t worry, Hannah, I won’t tell anyone that they’re my best friend. If I refer to them as a best friend, I’ll say ‘in here’!” Whether she sticks to that or not is something I’ll keep an eye on! n
