OK, so we might roll our eyes at some of the weird and wonderful celeb beauty trends out there, but if this is what it takes to look as good as Nicole Kidman, we are in. Fans of the Big Little Lies actress have long wondered how she manages to look so flawless at 52, and now we have the answer – chicken fat facials.

“Nicole has tried a lot of weird beauty stuff, but she swears by her latest discovery,” says an insider close to the star, who has previously admitted to using Botox but denied having surgery. “She’d heard how pig fat injections were used to plump up the skin, but she didn’t want to try that. Then her facialist told her about chicken fat facials. The fat has to come from organically raised chickens that died a natural death. Then the fat mixture is laced with coconut oil, lime juice, apple vinegar and almond extract before being applied to the face for an hour, twice weekly, along with collagen treatments.”

The age-defying Australian actress, who is married to country music star Keith Urban, previously admitted to trying “lots of things” to stay looking youthful – but insisted Botox was now off the table. She said, “Aside from sports and good nutrition, most things don’t make a difference. I even tried Botox, but I didn’t

like how my face looked afterwards. Now, I don’t use it any more and I can move my forehead again.”

And the Oscar winning mum of four is apparently delighted with the results of her chicken fat facials. “She said they’ve made her feel brand new,” says the source. “Nicole does the treatment regularly. She now wants the mixture applied to her whole body, so she can have that just-walkedoff-the-farm freshness.”

For cluck’s sake. ■
