scott tells Kourtney: ‘i’ll dump sofia if you marry me’
He says he still believes she is “The One”
Poor Scott Disick has tried to propose to Kourtney Kardashian before. In a 2011 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kourt shot him down before he’d even got the ring out. And in 2017 – the same year Scott started dating Sofia Richie – he admitted proposing to Kourtney again, but revealed they “got scared”, decided to put the ring away and never spoke about it again.
Now, despite not actually being
together, it seems Scott’s still trying to put a ring on it. As heat’s previously reported, the couple are rumoured to be hooking up, despite Scott, 36, dating 20-year-old Sofia. And a source close to the reality stars tells heat Scott is willing to split up with Sofia if his 40-year-old ex will finally marry him.
We’re told, “Everyone always expected them to end up back together once Scott dealt with his issues, and now may be the time, especially given how broody Kourt is for baby number four. But Scott has told her that he’ll only do it if she proves she’s serious about him. He’s saying, ‘It’s marriage this time, and I won’t take no for an answer’.”
The couple have three children together – Mason, nine, Penelope, seven, and Reign, four – and have continued to co-parent them since their 2015 split. They even recently went on holiday as a family, alongside Kim, but without Sofia in tow.
In fact, we’re told, “Scott and Kourt are now spending time together every day, and talk on the phone constantly. He has keys to her house again, and is encouraged to be around for dinner and bedtimes, even breakfasts, with Kourt often calling him first thing and putting in her coffee order.”
After so many ups and downs in their relationship, it’s no wonder Scott wants some guarantees this time around. “Scott has openly told Kourt her status as The One is unchanged, and he would drop everything the moment she would have him back,” our source explains. “But there’s one condition – he will only do it if she proves she’s in it for the long haul, so he wants them to get married ASAP. He’s suggesting they take the kids off to some Caribbean island or Mexico and just get married, and then come back and surprise everyone by throwing a big party to announce it.”
So, what’s stopping Kourtney? “Kourt is seriously considering it,” we’re told. “It’s obvious she’s never emotionally let go, but she knows she’ll get blamed for all the drama that comes with it. She thinks that Scott should just end it with Sofia, and then they can take it from there. Instead, it feels like he’s making her tell him to end it.” n
