‘They are cementing their friendship’
They’re turning into the dynasty we didn’t know we needed, and so the news that Priyanka Chopra and Sophie Turner are holding out to have babies with their respective Jonas husbands at the same time is just a bit thrilling.
A source close to the A-listers tells heat, “Now that they’re both married, Sophie and Priyanka are cementing their friendship with a plan to get pregnant at the same time. They do everything together. They helped plan each other’s multiple weddings and honeymoons, and now they want to be mums together, too.”
Priyanka, 36, and Nick – who’s ten years her junior –got engaged in July 2018, after just seven months of dating, They held their extravagant three-day wedding in December the same year. Sophie, 23, and Joe, 29, started dating in 2016, got engaged in 2017, and
initially got married in Las Vegas in a casual and intimate ceremony just a few months after Priyanka and Nick.
Joe seemed to be rebelling against his younger brother’s over-the-top do with his and Sophie’s low- key nuptials – that is until the couple held their own big fat celebrity wedding at a stunning French château last month.
The foursome are often seen hanging out together – from Miami yacht trips to New York dinner dates – and Priyanka has previously spoken about her close friendship with Sophie. “I’ve never had a sister, so it’s really nice to have Danielle [Kevin Jonas’ wife] and Sophie, and just inheriting the family by proxy,” she says. “Sophie is super-talented, super-funny and we have the most fun when we go out together.”
And if there was one way to ensure the bond of friendship grows even stronger for the Mrs Jonases, it’s to swap stories of 3am breastfeeding and poo explosions. And we’re told that the pair are already preparing for pregnancy together.
“Sophie’s cleared her schedule for the next few months, so the time is now, and Joe is definitely on board. She’s hoping it’s a honeymoon baby,” our source says. “Priyanka has made no secret of the fact that she wants to settle down and start a family with Nick, and now it’s full steam ahead. Sophie and Priyanka can’t wait to plan each other’s baby showers next.” ■
