Listen up, friends of Jennifer Lawrence, you might not want to wear white to her birthday party next month. After all, while she may be billing it as a bash to celebrate turning 29, insiders say she’s actually planning to surprise guests with a secret wedding. And with dynamic duo Kris Jenner and Adele helping her plan the do, it’s shaping up to be the event of the year.
“Jen loves the idea of shocking everyone with a surprise ceremony, just like Jennifer Aniston did in 2015,” says an insider close to the actress. “She’s super-focused on privacy and security, so she likes to keep details up her sleeve until the very last moment. Apparently, details are very hush-hush. All guests know is that they’ve been asked to keep Jen’s birthday, 15 August, free. But that’s enough to send speculation soaring – not least because it’s the first time Jen’s ever sent out a formal save the date. And she and fiancé Cooke Maroney have also been scouting five-star locations for their big day in New York, LA and her hometown in Kentucky. Putting two and two together, those close to Jen are pretty sure they’ll be watching her say “I do”, instead of blowing out the candles. Luckily, either way, there will be cake involved. n
