She’s out of the love triangle for good
When Michael chose Joanna over Amber during the Casa Amor fiasco, the nation was shocked. And the shocks kept coming when Joanna was dumped from the villa without Michael, and the firefighter re-declared his feelings for Amber soon after. Still reeling from the villa madness, Joanna, 22, tells heat that she’s “gutted”, but ultimately feels that “if Michael would be happier with Amber, then I’m happy for them”.
How are you feeling? I’m disappointed. I didn’t expect Michael to question the way I was with him. We discussed what it was going to be like meeting each other’s families, we discussed things like what our babies would look like, the kind of hair they would have! If he did really like Amber, then he should have been honest and said, “I’m interested in Amber ,” as opposed to, “The reason I’m getting to know Amber is that Joanna made me feel like she wasn’t into me.” did you feel stuck in the middle? I knew being part of a love triangle would never be easy. There was chat after chat [between Michael and Amber], and then we’d be OK, and then there’d be another chat. It was difficult. I don’t blame Amber for wanting to express how she feels – that’s why I was always OK with it. if he tried to get you back again, how would you feel? I just can’t see myself dropping it. I don’t ever see me allowing myself to go through that again, because it’s such a tough situation. do you still want to be friends with amber? Absolutely. Amber’s a lovely girl. She doesn’t mean any harm. I actually really got along with her – we had a lot in common, we’re very similar. I would be happy to be friends with her. Jack fowler surprised you at the airport on your return – are you good mates? We’ve been friends for over ten years! We’ve always been there for each other, so when I turned around and he was there, my heart just melted. Jack’s very protective of me. n
