And a source tells heat that Coleen was so enraged by the stunt,
that she personally rang Helen to tell her enough’s enough.
“Coleen was absolutely livid when Helen made the apology, she said she contacted her directly,” says an insider close to the 33 year old, who is currently in the UK with her four sons, Kai, nine, Klay, six, Kit, three, and Cass, 17 months, while Wayne plays football in the US. “She managed to get hold of Helen’s number via her agent and gave it to her both barrels. She warned her to stop bringing up her family, unless she’s ready for a full-on war. Coleen isn’t interested in any so-called apologies and saw straight through this stunt – dragging her name through the mud to sell a pathetic little book. Coleen’s now reaching out to shows like This Morning and Good Morning Britain, promising them she’ll give them an interview herself if they agree to stop having Helen on air. She’s well liked in the entertainment industry, and Coleen wants that woman’s sad little career finished. Helen’s five minutes of fame are almost up.”

Brother star caused ripples again last week as she continued to promote her tell-all autobiography, A Man’s World, which details how Wayne, 33, cried after sex with her. She said in a new interview, “I am sorry to Coleen, she didn’t deserve anything. I used to have a really pig-headed attitude towards the situation. I used to say, ‘If she wants to stick with him, that’s her own fault.’ Now I’m a bit older, I’m like, ‘She’s just a mum who wants to be with her family,

Her comments come as Coleen enjoys an extended holiday away from Washington DC – where she and Wayne have lived for the past year – and a break from her 11year marriage. Following a year of damning headlines about Wayne’s partying, his boozy arrests and court dates, Coleen has been determined to have the best summer ever. While Wayne did join the family for three days last week, Coleen has been living her best life – which so far has included a boozy trip to Ibiza with her girl mates, and a long posh dinner in Manchester with her mum, Colette, last week.
“Coleen’s been feeling like her old self again in the last few weeks,” says heat’s source. “It’s been so great being home and having all her friends around her. Going wild in Ibiza was just what the doctor ordered, and Coleen came back feeling feisty and strong. Then all this stuff with Helen came up again. She hates the idea of the public seeing her as a doormat, because she’s not.
“She’s said her piece to Helen now, and she’s not going to let it ruin her holiday. This is still going to be the best summer ever.” n
