Bradley & Gaga’s secret getaways

The co-stars are trying to keep things on the down-low

- Elizabeth Ryan

There can be a hundred people in the room, and Lady Gaga would only have eyes for Bradley Cooper. But these days, it’s mostly just the two of them. Friends say the A Star Is Born co-stars have been hiding away together at the singer’s Malibu mansion in recent weeks, as they avoid the spotlight and – more importantly – the actor’s recent ex, Irina Shayk.

“They’re holed up at her place, sometimes for days on end,” says an insider close to the pair, who sparked endless speculation with their obvious on-screen chemistry, before Bradley finally ended his four-year relationship with the Russian supermodel last month. “They want to explore their amazing connection as soulmates, but it’s a delicate process while Bradley finalises the terms of his

split from Irina. They’re both anxious not to rub anyone’s face in it, so her home is perfect for keeping things private. It’s situated on acres of land, so they feel like they never have to leave their romantic bubble. Gaga loves cooking for him and they’ll eat outside in the evening before taking a sunset stroll along her private cliff-top trails. They have lazy days in bed, too, and cosy up in front of the TV, just like any couple.”

But it’s not just about romance. Gaga, 33, and the 44-year-old actor – who shares custody of two-year-old daughter Lea with Irina – are also apparently discussing their next collaboration. “They know the world is waiting to see what they do next,” says an insider close to the pair, who are due to be on the carpet together at the end of August for the MTV Video Music Awards. “Bradley’s pushing hard to cast Gaga in the next instalment of Guardians Of The Galaxy. He also wants her in his upcoming Leonard Bernstein movie adaptation.”

It sounds like they’re the dream team on and off screen. n
