David Beckham has told Posh, “It’s me or the manager, babe”

Shock move as she strikes out on her own

Victoria Beckham has switched talent agencies, choosing to no longer be represented by her manager of 25 years, Simon Fuller. David had already parted ways with the music mogul – who famously manages the Spice Girls – in 2018, and we’re told he had been pushing Posh to make the change for months.

“David felt that, while Simon was instrumental in making them a global brand, he wasn’t sure about him taking them forward into the business world,” an insider tells heat. “David was unhappy about any

future joint businesses with Vic if Simon was involved – as he took a cut of the earnings – and that made her really uncomfortable. It literally came down to her having to choose between them, and as much as Simon has been one of her most loyal friends, she was always going to choose David.”

Our source adds that Vic, 45, was also influenced by the recent Spice Girls comeback. “She increasingly felt Simon was on ‘their’ side rather than hers – it was like he was stuck in the middle, making a lot of money from both. Victoria put her foot down and said, ‘You really can’t manage me and them. It’s a conflict of interest, so I’m walking away.’”

Now Vic feels she’s starting a whole new chapter. “She’s already been blown away by her new team, and their plans for her beauty brand. It’s brought her a lot closer to David, too, as he’s been advising her throughout and supporting her.”

However, she has not cut all ties with Simon, as he’s still joint owner of her VB business company. ■
