JP’S pain over binky’s new man

He thought they were getting back together…

- Kate Randall

Nobody likes to see an ex move on so soon, so spare a thought for Josh “JP” Patterson. The reality star is said to be devastated by Binky Felstead going public with her new man Max Darnton and their plans to buy a house – especially as JP thought they were trying to give things another go for the sake of their two-year-old daughter India.

“Josh feels led on by Binky, and is really angry over the interview she gave. She’s already talking about moving into a big house with Max and India, and she hasn’t run any of this past him,” an insider tells heat. “She told him about the relationship a few months back, but Josh had no idea it was this serious. He feels betrayed, as only a few months earlier they were talking about working things out, and now he feels as though she was just waiting until something better came along. Their mutual friends are really concerned about whether or not their

friendly co-parenting relationship can survive this.” Binky and JP split up last year, after deciding it would be better for India if they lived apart, while continuing to co-parent. “It was literally a mutual decision. Things hadn’t been right for a while, but we’d kind of painted over it,” Binky, 29, has since said. “[Staying together] was unfair on India, as well as ourselves. We can’t stick together just because we have a baby.”

However, they remained close, and heat reported they had still been hooking up, and had even discussed getting back together. But now Binky – who first split from JP when she was pregnant with India, before deciding to give it another go – has made it clear that won’t be happening.

Speaking about London-based businessman Max, the former Made In Chelsea star said, “I hoped I’d meet somebody. I just didn’t know it would be so soon, and that this would be how I feel. Things are going so nicely, so we’ll be looking – together – for a big house in London with a garden for India, and so that Max can get a dog.” n
