‘We’re basically the new Kardashians’

The Sims sisters are doing it for themselves

-

With the Faiers’ sisters long gone from the TOWIE line up, the show was calling out for another power family. Enter the Sims sisters. While Chloe, 36, is a veteran of the reality show, Demi, 22, made her debut last year, and Frankie, 24, is the latest addition. Demi and Frankie sat down with heat to talk about all the Essex drama, including that awkward love triangle between Chloe, Dan Edgar and Amber Turner.

Frankie, are you excited to join the cast? Frankie: I’m really excited about it. But I did the opening titles shoot recently and met a few people, and that made me nervous. It’s mixed emotions. Why did you decide to join? F: A lot has changed in my life recently. I moved up north for university, then had a serious relationship and lived with my boyfriend for another year. Then I went to Las Vegas on holiday, woke up there one morning and just thought, “I don’t want my life like this any more,” so I just let it all go and came back to Essex. It’s also because I want to spend time with Chloe and Demi, because I haven’t in years. And now we’ll be spending practically every day together. You’re going to be like a certain other famous TV family… Demi: I know – we basically are the new Kardashians! Will there be Kardashian-style drama ? D: It’ll mainly be us stealing each other’s clothes! But Chloe will have the biggest drama, what with Dan and Amber coming back. Frankie and I aren’t involved in anything yet, and we haven’t got any romances. How are you feeling about encountering Amber and Dan? D: Obviously, we don’t want to see Chloe hurt, so we will be very protective over her – it’s the way we’ve been brought up. We will have to see if it gets bad, or if it’s an easy ride. Are you on the lookout for anyone, then? F: I’m not on the lookout. I am open to meeting new people, but I’m not in a rush. If the right person comes along, I will go for it, though. D: I’m going to wing-woman her. Demi, who would you set her up with? F: There’s a few new boys on the show. I need to figure out who is single now, too, because literally everything’s changed in the three months we’ve been apart from everyone. n
