Gwyneth tries to plan Chris’ wedding
She’s doing some very conscious coupling
As far as amicable exes go, you can’t get friendlier than Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin. Ever since they consciously uncoupled in 2014, they’ve been rewriting the rules of break-up etiquette – holidaying together with their kids and significant others Brad Falchuk and Dakota Johnson, and publicly gushing about each other. Heck, Gwyneth’s even reportedly responsible for reuniting Chris and Dakota earlier this year after they temporarily split. But now we’re told Gwyn’s taking things to a whole new level – she’s planning their wedding. “She’s feels she’s successfully convinced Chris that Dakota’s the one for him, so now she’s desperately trying to get them hitched,” an insider close to the actress tells heat. “It’s really important to Gwyn that Chris is with someone who their children [Apple, 14, and Moses, 13] get on with. She thinks Dakota is very mature – but at the same time, she listens to what Gwyn says.”
Last week, Gwyneth paid tribute to Dakota on her Instagram, calling her an “absolute gem” and wishing her a happy 30th birthday alongside a photo of the Fifty Shades actress. And, according to our insider, Gwyn used Dakota’s starstudded birthday party in Malibu as the perfect opportunity to put her nuptial plans in place. “She showed up for the weekend with a pile of bridal magazines,” we’re told. “And she couldn’t stop talking about wedding dresses and menus. Chris and Dakota just laughed it off.”
The rate she’s going, we wouldn’t be surprised if she officiated. n
