‘Holiday wasn't quite as relaxing as i thought’
Just a week after pictures emerged of Lewis Burton and Caroline Flack engaged in a heated-looking bust-up, the pair were seen in an intimate embrace. The couple hugged and kissed before heading back to their hotel in Ibiza in a show of togetherness.
Caroline, 39, had been seen looking tearful mid-argument with her boyfriend of a few months while the pair were on board a luxury yacht with their friends. Lewis, 27, seemed to be trying to placate the TV presenter during the exchange and, at one point, Caroline held up her phone to show him something on her screen. But the couple looked happier in pics taken on one of the last days of their Spanish holiday.
Caroline has since returned to the UK and posted a cryptic message to her Instagram account, which seemed to reference the drama between her and Lewis, and implied it'd had a negative affect on the trip. She wrote, “Back from holiday… not quite as relaxing as I thought, but ready to jump back into work!”
The Love Island host may have also been referring to all their nights out on the party island. Caz joined Lewis and his pals at a variety of restaurants and clubs in Ibiza, and shared photos and videos with her followers on Instagram. She also posted snaps where she was snuggling up to Lewis, and drew hearts on the picture like a lovestruck teenager.
Having enjoyed her time off , Caroline told her fans she was back to work on a “new job” last week. Caz will also be gearing up for the first series of winter Love Island, which is set to take place in early 2020 in Cape Town. Speaking about the new series, Caroline – who turns 40 next month – recently said, “I literally cannot wait, it is going to be so hot. Probably the hottest one yet. Cape Town, can you believe it? Love Island’s twice a year now – it’s going to be mad.” n
