If anyone deserves a good flirt on a night out, it’s Ferne Mccann. After all, she hasn’t had the best of luck with men (her last longterm relationship was with baby daddy Arthur Collins, who was jailed for 20 years for an acid attack in 2017.) Since then, she’s been a devoted single mum to 23-month-old Sunday. But according to the reality star, she’s ready to rev up her love life – and lucky for us, we get to see it.
Sitting down with heat as First Time Mum returns to our screens, Ferne, 29, talks dating apps and snogging Love Islanders…
We saw you in uncharted territory in the first series – do you think you’ve found your groove more now? That’s exactly how I feel. Whereas before you saw me learning on the job, I’m now into the swing of motherhood. And Sunday’s such a little character now – we call her Miss Sunday. You’ll see her hitting the terrible twos and how I deal with that.
Will we see more of your dating life? Definitely. I wasn’t quite ready to date in the last series. Since I gave birth, everyone’s asked me, “Have you met anyone yet?” This time, you’ll see my genuine love life. Are you on any dating apps? I’m on celebrity dating app Raya. That’s an exclusive for you, huns! I’ve been on a few dates. There are some hot guys on it, mostly footballers. Back in the day, I joined Tinder, but people were screenshotting my profile and tweeting it to my ex [and former TOWIE co-star] Charlie Sims. Raya’s good. If you screenshot someone, you get a warning. Are you nervous about making the first move? I’ve got no qualms about telling someone they’re fit. You’ll see that on the show. I love a good flirt. We noticed you have a bit of a thing for Love Island guys [last month, Ferne was pictured snogging Love Islander Jordan Hames]… I know, it’s so annoying! Everyone thought I was in a relationship with Jordan, but I actually met him that night. There was some serious flirting, but I’m not talking to him now – it was a one-night thing. n
