Ange’s next target: Justin
The actress is in revenge mode
You might expect to hear Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie are fighting over Brad Pitt – but it’s actually Jen’s most recent ex who is causing tension between the women. An insider tells us that Angelina is “ruthlessly pursuing a movie project with Justin Theroux” as revenge on Jen. “It’s no secret in Hollywood that Angelina and Jen can’t stand one another, but many people thought that their feud had fizzled out,” says the source. “But that all changed when Brad and Jen reignited their friendship, and Ange was really upset after Brad very publicly attended Jen’s 50th party earlier this year.” The source continues, “To make things worse, Jen took a swipe at Marvel movies [she recently said they were “diminishing” the film industry], knowing Ange has signed up to the cast of their new franchise The Eternals. Angelina is furious that Jen would throw shade at her like that, so now she’s plotting her revenge. She’s decided to fight fire with fire.”
And, we’re told, Angelina thinks the best way to do that is to strike up a friendship with Jen’s ex-husband Justin. “Ange knows that getting close to Justin in a professional setting will drive Jen crazy, as Jen and Justin are currently trying to re-establish their friendship,” our insider explains. “There are a number of movie projects that Justin is already attached to, and producers would love Ange to come on board. It’s going to be a bitter pill for Jen to swallow, but Ange wants to send a clear message to her that they’re even now, and she needs to be treated with more respect.” ■
