Lauren: ‘i’ll keep having surgery until i find Mr Nice’

Will another nip/tuck end her bad luck?

- Charlotte oliver

She’s decided to ditch the bad boys for good and focus on settling down with Mr Marriage Material. But unfortunately, Lauren Goodger’s got a strange way of finding true love.

An insider says the reality star is convinced that surgery is the key, and is telling friends that she’ll keep getting things lifted, boosted and filled until she meets her dream man. Even more worryingly, she’s looking to Katie Price for inspiration, because everyone knows the Pricey is the best person to emulate when it comes to Botox and boyfriends.

“Lauren has been taking advice from people like Katie, who think that surgery is a way of life,” says an insider close to the former TOWIE star, whose appearance has drastically transformed over the years, reportedly thanks to lip, cheek and jawline fillers, Botox, lipo, a nose job and boob implants. “She thinks that it’s necessary to stay relevant. She’ll do anything to change her body to get a man, even if it bankrupts her.”

There’s no denying that Lauren’s had her fair share of bad luck in love. Her Celebs Go Dating appearance earlier this year bombed, with fans calling her “self-obsessed” and producers reportedly finding it “impossible” to find her a date. Before then, she had turbulent romances with former convicts Joey Morrisson and Jake Mclean, following her ten-year on/off relationship with Mark Wright.

But while her friends are urging her to focus on improving her self-esteem to find true love, we’re told Lauren’s convinced it’s her looks that are getting in the way. Even unsavoury comparisons to surgically addicted socialite the Bride of Wildenstein have fallen on deaf ears. “Lauren keeps looking at pictures of celebs on the internet,” we’re told. “One minute, she wants a Kim Kardashian boob uplift, the next, she’s texting Katie Price to ask about her face lift. Katie’s told her that surgery helps to keep some sort of mystique about her – guys want to see what she’s like in the flesh.

“Lauren’s convinced it’s why people like Katie always have a boyfriend. She’s adamant that surgery is now a full-time occupation and she’ll continue having it until the day she gets married.” n
