The singer can’t wait to be a dad
We’ve always associated Justin Bieber with babies. After all, he first found fame with his hit single Baby when he was barely out of nappies himself. And now, at the grand old age of 24, the singer’s set to have one of his own. According to insiders, Justin and wife Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin) have been eager to start a family since covertly saying “I do” in September – and they haven’t wasted any time in making it happen. It seems all that public snogging (etc) has done the trick, because now we’re told Hailey could have a baby on board.
“Justin can’t wait to become a dad and everyone thinks Hailey could even be pregnant already,” a source close to the
Canadian crooner tells heat. “He loves kids and credits his Christian faith for gracing him with Hailey, so he feels like he’s starting a family with God’s blessing. He’s always dreamed of being a dad, he’s just ready for a completely different lifestyle. He wants to be really hands-on.”
Justin’s always spoken about wanting to be a young father, and he’s had plenty of practise already, thanks to his younger siblings – Jazmyn, ten, Jaxon, eight, and four-month-old Bay. We’re told that Hailey, whose dad Stephen Baldwin is a born-again Christian, shares Justin’s sense of faith and family, and is just as delighted to start planning a family. Plus, it means she can relax a little, after feeling constantly threatened by Justin’s long-time ex Selena Gomez, who he only split with for the final time last March.
“Even though she and Justin are now married, Hailey’s still jealous of Selena,” our source reveals. “She’s hoping that having a child together will strengthen their bond, over any feelings Justin may still have for his ex. They want to have a lot of kids, so she’s ready to quit her modelling career and become a full-time mum.”
The loved-up couple have yet to officially comment on their marriage, instead leaving us hints on Instagram (because they’re just so millennial), so we doubt they’ll be keeping us up to date with their baby plans. But one thing we know for sure is that, when a mini Jailey does arrive, Justin will have a lullaby ready and waiting, “Like, baby, baby, baby, oh…” ■
