It turns out becoming queen of the jungle doesn’t rid you of all your problems, as Jacqueline Jossa may have been hoping. While contestants of I’m A Celeb often return to the UK claiming their lives have changed for the better, Jac has had to come out to yet more heartache, as she battles to save her marriage to husband Dan Osborne.
An insider tells heat, “Even before Jac went in the jungle, she was warned that more accusations of Dan cheating may come out, to capitalise on her time in the spotlight, and it made her sick to her stomach. Now, Jac is facing the toughest decision of her life – whether or not to finally walk away from Dan to protect both her sanity and her dignity.”
But Dan – who has two daughters, Ella, four, and 18-month-old Mia with the actress – wants to put on a united front with Jacqueline and is doing his best to persuade her to renew their vows, two years after they first wed. “Dan is trying to talk Jac into doing a vow renewal, and while she is considering the idea as a way to prove to the world that they can be a strong couple, she knows deep down that the marriage could end. Dan tells her it will be the perfect way to start afresh, but she is struggling to trust him.” News of the couple’s second wedding was met with a lot of cynicism online, with many calling it a “sham” and saying that Dan “will never stop cheating”. The couple have faced their fair share of rocky patches in the last few years, thanks to multiple allegations of Dan cheating – all of which he has denied. And while
Jac, 27, was participating in grim Bushtucker Trials and winning over the nation, Dan, 28, was dealing with renewed talk about his alleged fling with Gabby Allen, as well as claims that he’d had a threesome in September 2018 with fellow Celeb Big Brother stars Chloe Ayling and Natalie Nunn. Dan had flown out to Australia with the couple’s daughters to meet his wife, and they are said to have had crisis talks about their marriage as soon as she left the jungle. “Of course, Dan has been nothing but apologetic and completely denied everything,” our insider tells us. “Jac wants to believe him, but at the same time, she can’t help but feel the claims against him have spoiled her turn in the spotlight. Her biggest fear has always been ending up a single mum, but now that she has a renewed sense of herself, she doesn’t find it as scary as before.”
But we’re told Jac’s camp are keen for her to walk away from the marriage following the latest shocking claims. “Although Jac has decided to stand by Dan for now, she has been encouraged by her management to walk away. They say she’ll make millions as a single mum doing her best to support her kids – especially after getting the public on her side while in the jungle,” our source explains. “Her mum and dad have also sided with her management, and feel that Jac won’t reach her full potential if she sticks with Dan.” n
